Accessibility Statement

Version: 1.0

Last Updated: 3rd September 2026

This accessibility statement applies to BizHub365, operated by Tweed Tyne Technologies Ltd, including:

We want as many people as possible to be able to use BizHub365. This page explains how accessible the product is today, how to get help, and what we are improving.

1. How accessible this product is

BizHub365 is partially accessible. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We do not currently claim full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance.

You should be able to:

  • Skip to the main content on most pages
  • Use a keyboard on core public, sign-in, and many product flows
  • Zoom the web pages (the site does not lock the browser zoom)
  • Use the product in portrait or landscape
  • Read page titles and a default language of English (UK)
  • Find public pages through the main navigation, footer, and sitemap

Public marketing, authentication, footer, and cookie-consent screens have a visible keyboard focus indicator and larger tap targets. Those treatments are not yet applied consistently inside the signed-in application.

2. Known limitations

We know the following issues remain:

  • Session timeout: after a period of inactivity the signed-in session ends without a warning or an option to extend it. Unsaved work can be lost (WCAG 2.2.1).
  • Unexpected navigation: some filters, pagination controls, and business-switcher menus submit or navigate as soon as you change them, without a separate confirm action or a visible warning (WCAG 3.2.2).
  • Focus not always visible: keyboard focus is often hard to see on buttons and links inside the signed-in application (WCAG 2.4.7).
  • Form labels and errors: some in-app fields rely on placeholder text instead of a visible label, and not every error is tied to the field that caused it (WCAG 1.3.1, 3.3.1, 4.1.2).
  • Images and colour: some images may lack a useful text alternative, and some status styling still relies partly on colour (WCAG 1.1.1, 1.4.1).
  • Contrast and reflow: we have not measured colour contrast or 320-pixel reflow on every screen. Dense tables (for example VAT, invoices, and payroll) may need horizontal scrolling.

This list is based on a source-code review of templates, CSS, and settings dated 3 September 2026. It is not a full laboratory test with assistive technology on every screen.

3. What we are doing to improve

We are working through the known issues above, in this order:

  1. Warn before session timeout and allow the session to be extended
  2. Stop automatic navigation on change, or warn before it happens
  3. Make keyboard focus visible throughout the signed-in application
  4. Give every input a programmatic label and associate error text with the field
  5. Complete text alternatives and a contrast pass

We will update this statement when those changes land or when we complete a fuller assistive-technology review.

4. Feedback and contact

If you need information in a different format, cannot use part of BizHub365, or want to report an accessibility problem, contact:

Tweed Tyne Technologies Ltd

Please include the page or feature, what you were trying to do, the assistive technology or browser you use (if any), and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 5 working days.

5. Enforcement

If you are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS). The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 in England, Scotland and Wales. BizHub365 is a commercial product; we publish this statement so customers and HMRC can see our current accessibility position.

6. Technical information

BizHub365 is built as a Django web application with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus native iOS and Android wrappers. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

This product is not fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. The non-compliances we currently know about are listed in section 2.

We test on current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. The mobile apps are available from the App Store and Google Play.

7. Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 3 September 2026 by Tweed Tyne Technologies Ltd. It is based on a self-assessment of the BizHub365 source code (templates, CSS, and settings). It has not yet been independently audited with assistive technology on every screen.

We will review this statement at least once a year, or sooner after a material change to the product.
